Teen Camp Overview : Memories to Last a Lifetime

The Odyssey Teen Camp program offers challenges and a change of scenery for campers entering grades 7 & 8. This program operates independently of the traditional Camp Odyssey Day Camp and is based on the opposite side of The Salisbury School campus in the Upper School gym. Teens experience more variety and independence under the outstanding leadership of some of our finest counselors. The Odyssey Teen Camp program is designed to foster responsibility, self-awareness and positive character development in our teens. Campers take part in some of their favorite activities from previous years as well as lots of new experiences.
Cost: $197/week (discounted rate during Weeks 3 and 8 for shortened schedules; trips may incur extra costs)

The Teen Camp Difference

The Odyssey Teen Camp experience is designed with middle-schoolers in mind. Trips (see below) are specially selected to appeal to our oldest campers and itineraries are built to maximize the fun quotient! Teen Camp has its own home on the Odyssey campus in the summer, located in the air-conditioned Upper School Gym. This allows a space for Teen-only group challenges and meetings, but the traditional camp studios and special activities are only a quick walk away. The Teen Camp schedule is also intended to be sure Teens still get a chance to participate in the classic "big camp days", such as Wetacular Water Play, Mello Jello, Chunk n Splatter, and of course Mud Madness! 2010 Teen Camp Trip Itinerary

We are still finalizing our trip schedule and making arrangements for the best summer possible! Here are some highlights to look forward to - more details coming soon, check back as the summer draws closer!
*Additional costs may be associated with some trips (ex. Busch Gardens and NYC overnights)

-Week 1 (June 24): Visit to Beyond the Limits Challenge Ropes Course in Mardela Springs, MD
-Week 2 (July 1): Baseball in Baltimore: Orioles vs. Athletics
-Week 3 (July 8): Jolly Roger Water Park
-Week 4 (July 15-16): Busch Gardens/Water Country USA
-Week 5 (July 22): Kayak and Bike Adventure
-Week 6 (July 28-30): New York City (3 Day trip with 2 day overnight, extra charges apply)***
-Week 7 (August 5): OC Trimpers
-Week 8 (August 12): OC Beach and Boardwalk

**Note:The trip to Busch Gardens includes round trip transportation, admission to Water Country USA, admission to Busch Gardens and a hotel with a pool and continental breakfast in Williamsburg. Campers will need money for lunches, dinners and souvenirs. Due to the need for reservations, the cut off date for registering for this trip will be July 1, 2010.

***Note: The trip to NYC includes round trip transportation, dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe, admission to a Broadway show, admission to the Observation Deck of the Empire State Building, a pizza party and a hotel with a rooftop swimming pool. Campers will need to have money for breakfast, lunch and souvenirs. Due to the need for reservations, the cut off date for registering for this trip will be July 1, 2010.
