The ESLC is designed for high school players (rising 7th to rising 12th) who are dedicated to becoming the best team players they can be! The emphasis will be on development and growth while competing in summer tournaments that not only challenge them but also offer opportunities for exposure to college coaches and recruiters.
Meet The Coaches:
Director of Coaching: PJ Kesmodel:
PJ is a nationally renowned coach and the founder of Hero's Tournament Lacrosse Club. A 2004
inductee into the Hall of Fame of the Greater Baltimore Chapter of U.S. Lacrosse, PJ fought for the
establishment of womens lacrosse in Howard County and then created the womens lacrosse program
at Mt. Hebron High School. He is the only Maryland coach to have won a state championship in both
boys and girls lacrosse. In addition, PJ has over 30 years experience as a guidance counselor
specializing in college placement of student athletes. PJ has retired to Rehoboth Beach Delaware and
is currently the varsity girls lacrosse coach at Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes, Delaware. He
has also started a girls summer lacrosse league "Lewes Lax" which will start its third season of
operation in mid-June for young women from 9th grade to post graduate. In the spring of 2009 PJ’s
team became the first public school to ever win the girls high school state championship in Delaware.
Middle School Coaches: Steve Yeager & Steve Judge: Have coached various age groups in the
Atlantic Lacrosse Club since 2001.
The high school club will participate in seven tournaments (4 in the summer and 3 in the fall) and the
middle school in five tournaments (3 in summer and 2 in the fall) Practice will begin in May after the
High School season is completed. All club members must be US Lacrosse members. US Lacrosse membership application: http://www.uslacrosse.org/membership/index.phtml Practices will be held at Cape Henlopen High School.
The cost is $399 middle school and $549 high school per player...the fee includes uniform,
tournaments; coaches travel expenses, & administration.
