  Horizons at The Salisbury School is proud to employ a caring, dedicated staff that accomplishes huge things everyday in the lives of dozens of children. Our staff is what makes this amazing program come to life and they are truly the heart and soul of Horizons. Each grade level has a Head Teacher who coordinates all the activities and cirriculum for that age level. Assitant Teachers provide valuable support and work to ensure all program aspects run smoothly. Employment Opportunities Horizons teaches children from economically disadvantaged families to thrive in spite of challenging circumstances. Our holistic, hands-on approach to learning equips students with a strong motivation to learn and the skills necessary to realize their full potential. We have a diverse group of students (African-American, Hispanic, Asian, and Caucasian). The program serves potentially high achieving, but at risk, public school students in a six-week private school summer program with follow-up reinforcement programs and special events during the school year. If you are interested in making a big difference in the life of a child this summer, we invite you to apply for available positions for our six-week summer session. We are interested in self-motivated candidates who have a genuine interest in helping to ignite the spark of learning in elementary-aged children.
